Learn how to build your professional network and a strategic plan within career paths of interest alongside fellow graduate students, postdocs, and recent alumni through advanced degree (Masters and Ph.D) "Career Communities" that are being developed by Graduate Career Services for the College of Arts and Letters (includes Keough Peace Studies Ph.D.). The communities will be hosted within "Google Classroom" and will include resource libraries, curated lists of alumni contacts, messaging capabilities with fellow students, and more.
A "Higher Education Administration" Career Community is being launched as the pilot with additional groups to follow that will include Academia/Faculty, Nonprofit/NGO, Government (Local, State, Federal), Business/Industry, and K-12 Education Careers. The initiative is meant to enhance resources such as LinkedIn and Irish Compass (Notre Dame's main alumni career mentorship platform) and to serve as a resource for those with similar career interests to interact.
