Professional placements open to postdoctoral fellows for Academic Year 2020/2021 will be posted by the end of Fall 2019:
Fellows are encouraged to tailor the experience to meet their individual interests and are welcome to propose their own placements, on campus or around the world. These may include any number of museums, libraries, foundations, legal and advocacy groups, secondary schools, community colleges, or arts and humanities organizations.
“Students who earn a doctorate in the humanities or the social sciences develop a wide range of skills that are applicable to many careers beyond the professorate. Unlike traditional programs that only consider academic placements, our new program is intended to expand the range of careers available to our graduates.” —Margaret Meserve, Associate Dean for the Humanities
