Internship Track
For students seeking careers outside academia. This track has a competitive application process. These carefully sourced internships are published each year, tailored to fellows whose career aspirations take them outside the professoriate.
Salary follows the NIH Postdoc 0 rate.
Will also receive an R&PD.

Teaching & Research Track
For students seeking careers in academia. Teaching should be arranged with your home department well before the start of the following academic year. This track can also apply for the Competitive Teaching Positions in Rome.
The salary for academic year 2025/2026 it is $42,000, but is subject to change for the following academic year.
Will also receive an R&PD.
Competitive Teaching
The College of Arts and Letters also has Competitive Teaching Opportunities which are available thanks to a partnership with Notre Dame Rome.
